The big three decided the main points in the paris peace treaty
Woodrow Wilson (USA) submitted 14 points, wanted germany to be able to rebuild and be working democratic country
Self-determination was a important point in this theory- he wanted everyone to have there one area and could make their own future.
originally the big four- included victorio nelado- was going to give him land but ended up refusing him the land so he signed his own peace treaty with Germany

Summary
It was actually Wilson's dream to form collective security however the rest of the government thought it would be a terrible idea so the USA never joined the League of Nations.
